Three-star prospect and the 25th-best recruit in the state of Utah according to 247Sports.com… Earned Utah Class 6A honorable mention all-state and first-team all-Region 1 honors while playing wide receiver and outside linebacker as a prep senior at Weber High School in Pleasant View, Utah… During his senior season in 2018, he ranked second on the team with 27 catches for 370 yards and two touchdowns, to go along with 58 tackles, including 6.0 sacks, to rank second on the team… Helped lead Weber HS to a 7-4 overall record and appearance in the 2018 6A state playoffs… Recorded one sack in six different games… Had a career-high 11 tackles in the Warriors’ 35-14 win over Granger HS… Best receiving game of the season was against Alta HS, as he caught five passes for a career-high 102 yards… Caught a career-best seven passes for 99 yards and a touchdown during his junior season against Davis HS… Finished his prep career with 84 receptions for 1,015 yards and five touchdowns, to go along with 62 tackles... Was also on the basketball and track & field team at Weber HS... A member of the honor roll.
